🫧 The Story of iyiyim
Someone having a panic attack feels like the loneliest person in the world in that moment. A pounding heart, shortness of breath, the thought "what if I die"... Yet what is needed right then is simple: a calm voice, the right guidance and the reassurance that "this will pass."
iyiyim was born from exactly that need. Our goal is for everyone living with panic attacks and anxiety to carry a trusted source of support in their pocket, day and night.
Our approach
- Science-based: The techniques in the app (slow breathing exercises, grounding, cognitive restructuring) come from the cognitive behavioral therapy literature.
- Non-judgmental and warm: Nobody tells you "you are overreacting." What you are experiencing is real and manageable.
- Privacy first: Your journals and data belong to you; they are never sold or shared.
- Accessible: Core features are free for everyone.
What we are not
iyiyim is not a healthcare provider; it does not diagnose, prescribe medication or replace therapy. It is a support tool that walks beside you in daily life and on the way to a professional. If your symptoms are severe, please see a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist; in an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Frequently asked questions
What is iyiyim?
iyiyim is a digital support app that stands by people living with panic attacks and anxiety in their hardest moments. It offers a Panic SOS mode, breathing exercises, an AI coach, mood tracking and science-based guides. You can use it on the web at app.iyiyim.org.
Who made iyiyim?
iyiyim was built by a small team that knows first-hand how lonely a panic attack can feel. Our starting point was a personal need: everyone should have a calm voice in their pocket during a crisis. That story is also the foundation of the approach described above.
What is the scientific basis of iyiyim?
The techniques in the app — slow breathing exercises, 5-4-3-2-1 grounding, cognitive restructuring and behavioural activation — come from the cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) literature. iyiyim does not diagnose and does not replace treatment; it is a self-help support tool.
Is iyiyim free?
Yes, the core features (Panic SOS, breathing exercises, mood tracking) are free. An optional VIP subscription unlocks advanced content. You can start for free right away at app.iyiyim.org.
